Tentative meeting has been CANCELLED
In the minutes we stated that if we had approval for the Parents Reaching Out grant we would meet on Wed. Nov. 25th to have a planning meeting. This would be a special meeting to work out the details for the Web Safety sessions and how we would use the funds from the grant.
Our grant has not yet been approved, so we won't have the planning evening at this time.
The next regular School Council meeting is on Wed. January 6th at 6:00 p.m.

Feedback on TDSB Parent Engagement Policy
From the Desktop of Michelle Munroe, Central Co-ordinator Parent and
Community Involvement, TDSB
To parents of children at D.A. Morrison ---
The Ministry of Education has drafted a parent engagement policy. They
have developed an on-line survey to get parents input/feedback on the
survey. Please review the policy and respond to survey. This is a great
opportunity to have input.
You may access the draft policy and survey at:
http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/parents/involvement/survey.html
I know many of you are not on councils but thought you may be interested as
a parent.
This survey will be active until December 31, 2009.
Thanks
Michelle
